Developer RAINBITE announced on May 13 that the Steam version will be released on May 28. According to the Steam store page, the game supports Japanese display. This work was released in July 2021 for PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X | S/Nintendo Switch, and has recently entered Steam.

"TRIGGER WITCH" is a pixel art -looking twin stick shooter influenced by 16 -bit action adventure works. The stage of the story is a mysterious open world where the magic is abolished and the gun has become a new lifestyle. The protagonist is a promising graduate collet of the magic and gun academy "stock". At one point, a suspicious man appeared in front of the collet, and an event that confused his life broke out. She gets up with a number of guns to regain her peace.

She can carry multiple firearms with different characteristics. She has various kinds of weapons, such as guns with excellent firing performance and flame radiator. Various guns can get new types every time an adventure progresses. By visiting the store, it is possible to upgrade for each gun. These upgrades can be made in exchange for gems and materials. She uses a number of firearms and gives the enemy to the blood festival.

There are various areas in the world expressed in the open world. There are many environments, such as dense forests, sandy beaches, snowfields, and facilities with belt conveyors. And there are also puzzle elements in each area. By dissolving ice with flame radiation, shooting a block that reflects bullets, shooting a distant target, or using firearms and wisdom to break through the device smartly. The TRIGGER WITCH was developed by New Zealand Studio RAINBITE. As a past work, the 2D action adventure "Reverie" was released.
