This project is an interview with the developer of the new indie game that you are interested in. This time, we will provide a mini-interlock to developers " Sephonee " developers " Sephonee ", a parcour action adventure released on April 13 for PC/Mac, developed by Melos Han-Tani and Marina Kittaka.
This work is a 3D action adventure that explores a huge cavity that spreads under the island, with three biologists who have arrived at Sephony Island, an uninhabited island. Use jumping and waluns to move the terrain with a difference in elevation dynamically, sometimes link with unknown creatures that live on the island using puzzle games, and solve the mystery sleeping on the island. It has already been supported in Japanese.

Melos Han-Tani (Melos) Hello, this is Melos Han-Tani. He lives in Tokyo. I don't have a special favorite game (although I play a lot of games for research purposes), but if I have to choose a few, "YU-NO", "Kentucky Route Zero", "Cave Story", "Eltail" Monsters]. The memorable atmosphere and quality are the decisive factors!
――Why did this work developed?
Melos I wanted to make games on the relationship between Japan, Taiwan, and the United States. For example, the United States has the power of Japan and Taiwan, and the past where Japan has colonized Taiwan. In addition, we wanted to draw an adventure of biologists who changed as we explore the super -real cave, which became a 3D action game in this work.

It is full of Melos unique actions, and you will not be able to proceed without observing the surrounding 3D environment. In addition, a puzzle called "Puzzle Grid System" will appear, linking various creatures in the game. And the story is super -realistic, emotional, and a novel -like quality. The story of Identity and three Taiwanese creators (from Japan, the United States, Taiwan, respectively) is drawn.
――What kind of person do you want this work to play?
I want people who like MELOS to play a good story and unique and innovative 3D game play! I also want everyone who is interested in the relationship with her country to play.
— Is there any work influenced by this work?
The Melos story is influenced by historical novels such as Yoshinori Hotta's "referee" and books such as highke Gype's "Seasonal Association", as well as historical books in East Asia and Southeast Asia. I was influenced by 3D actions such as "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater". In addition, the 3D space that appears in this work is inspired by my photos and my favorite Tokyo walk.
――What had an impact on the development of the new Coronavirus?
Melos had some delay, but the development was remotely done, so it wasn't much of a problem. The new Corona has a little effect on the story, but if you talk more, it will be spoiled!
